Artesanías de la Etnia Zenú: Tejiendo Patrimonio, Construyendo Memoria Histórica en Manos de Las Mujeres Indígenas Zenues Asociación Arte Zenú municipio San Antonio de Palmito – Sucre

dc.description.abstract	Las artesanías de la etnia zenú, son un elemento característico de esta cultura, están relacionadas al pasado de esta etnia, a la cosmovisión de cómo los primeros indígenas al elaborarlas concebían el mundo y la transformación histórica que han tenido para que a través de ellas se pueda transmitir los saberes ancestrales, costumbres y tradiciones de una comunidad étnica. Esta monografía está enfocada en Interpretar el valor patrimonial que se da a las artesanías hechas por mujeres de la etnia zenú de la asociación Arte Zenú del municipio de San Antonio de Palmito, Sucre. Dicho valor patrimonial está ligado a la labor artesanal como aporte al reconocimiento de los pueblos indígenas en la protección de la identidad cultural y la reconstrucción de la memoria histórica, en el caso de las mujeres artesanas de la etnia zenú se realizó esta investigación cualitativa a través del método etnográfico, la observación participante, el diario de campo y algunas entrevistas. Al llevar a cabo la recolección de la información mediante el método etnográfico, la observación participante, el diario de campo, historias de vida y algunas entrevistas a las mujeres zenues de Arte Zenú encontramos que las artesanías como el sombrero vueltiao el cual es considerado insignia nacional, los elementos decorativos como tapetes, canastos y algunos accesorios para mujeres como aretes, manillas, diademas, entre otros, son los mas representativos de estas mujeres, ya que son los productos que mas se elaboran dentro de su comunidad aunque también están innovando en otros diseños inspirados en objetos como la olla de barro, el pilón, abanicos de mano, entre otros. Estos elementos tienen un simbolismo significativo como rescate del patrimonio cultural de esta etnia, ya que las pintas de cada productos está referenciando un elemento, un acontecimiento o un momento histórico de su cultura, el sombrero vueltiao por ejemplo; es el icono mas importante que representa a la etnia zenú, la mas antigua de las artesanías y el mas valioso objeto del patrimonio, este expresa lo que representan culturalmente las artesanías de la etnia zenú, en el podemos encontrar imágenes trenzadas dentro de su estructura que hablan de la historia de este pueblo. Pintas como el granito de arroz, que se refiere a este producto agrícola cultivado por esta comunidad para el sustento de sus familias, el pilón, que era una herramienta de trabajo usada para triturar el maíz y el arroz cosechado por los hombres de la comunidad, la costilla de la vaca, el morrocoy, la cocá, los dientes del ñeque, lo cuales están asociados a animales encontrados en medio de su hábitat que se han usado desde la antigüedad como alimentos para el consumo de sus familias. En las respuestas de las participantes se evidencia lo antes mencionado mediante los testimonios de vida, donde estas mujeres hablan acerca del pasado de su comunidad, como los ancestros se inspiraban en elementos del medio ambiente para crear las pintas o imágenes que se plasman en las artesanías y como cada una de ellas es un icono propio de cada familia, es decir; dentro de las comunidades donde habitan las familias de estas mujeres existen unas especificas en trabajar un producto artesanal en especial, la familia X puede ser experta en el trenzado del sombrero vueltiao con la pina del granito de arroz que sería la que adornaría al sombrero y así sería para el resto de la comunidad. Lo anterior se fundamenta en argumentos teóricos de investigaciones que se han hecho acerca de la labor artesanal en manos de mujeres indígenas, las representaciones culturales que tiene esa actividad, el valor patrimonial, la identidad cultural, la apropiación de la labor artesanal como medio de sustento para las familias de estas mujeres y el rescate de elementos culturales a través de la memoria histórica. Por último, encontramos que las conclusiones dadas a partir de todo el análisis contenido en este documento apuntan explícitamente a que la labor artesanal realizada por mujeres de la etnia zenú, ha contribuido a la transformación de esta actividad, misma que se ha fortalecido a través del tiempo y que ha roto los estereotipos que en el pasado fueron sesgados por la desigualdad de género. El valor patrimonial de las artesanías es un aporte valioso al fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural de la etnia zenú, especialmente en las nuevas generaciones y que para estas mujeres ha sido un proceso de gran dedicación ya que han sentido que su labor es de gran importancia en el rescate, la protección y la preservación de la identidad indígena zenú.
dc.description.abstracteng	The crafts of the Zenú ethnic group are a characteristic element of this culture, they are related to the past of this ethnic group, to the worldview of how the first indigenous people, when making them, conceived the world and the historical transformation they have undergone so that through them can transmit the ancestral knowledge, customs and traditions of an ethnic community. This monograph is focused on Interpreting the heritage value given to the crafts made by women of the Zenú ethnic group of the Arte Zenú association of the municipality of San Antonio de Palmito, Sucre. This heritage value is linked to artisanal work as a contribution to the recognition of indigenous peoples in the protection of cultural identity and the reconstruction of historical memory. In the case of the artisan women of the Zenú ethnic group, this qualitative research was carried out through of the ethnographic method, participant observation, the field diary and some interviews. By carrying out the collection of information through the ethnographic method, participant observation, field diary, life stories and some interviews with the Zenue women of Arte Zenú we found that crafts such as the vueltiao hat which is considered a national insignia , decorative elements such as mats, baskets and some accessories for women such as earrings, bracelets, headbands, among others, are the most representative of these women, since they are the products that are most made within their community although they are also innovating in others. designs inspired by objects such as the clay pot, the pylon, hand fans, among others. These elements have significant symbolism as a rescue of the cultural heritage of this ethnic group, since the pints of each product are referencing an element, an event or a historical moment of their culture, the vueltiao hat for example; It is the most important icon that represents the Zenú ethnic group, the oldest of the crafts and the most valuable object of heritage, it expresses what the crafts of the Zenú ethnic group represent culturally, in it we can find images braided within its structure that They talk about the history of this town. Pintas like the grain of rice, which refers to this agricultural product grown by this community to support their families, the pilón, which was a work tool used to crush the corn and rice harvested by the men of the community, the rib of the cow, the morrocoy, the cocá, the teeth of the ñeque, which are 7 associated with animals found in the middle of their habitat that have been used since ancient times as food for the consumption of their families. In the responses of the participants, the aforementioned is evident through the life testimonies, where these women talk about the past of their community, how the ancestors were inspired by elements of the environment to create the paintings or images that are reflected in the crafts. and as each one of them is an icon of each family, that is to say; Within the communities where the families of these women live, there are specific requirements for working with a special artisanal product. Family It would be for the rest of the community. The above is based on theoretical arguments from research that has been done about craft work in the hands of indigenous women, the cultural representations that this activity has, the heritage value, cultural identity, the appropriation of craft work as a means of livelihood. for the families of these women and the rescue of cultural elements through historical memory. Finally, we find that the conclusions given from all the analysis contained in this document explicitly point out that the craft work carried out by women of the Zenú ethnic group has contributed to the transformation of this activity, which has been strengthened through the time and that has broken the stereotypes that in the past were biased by gender inequality. The heritage value of crafts is a valuable contribution to strengthening the cultural identity of the Zenú ethnic group, especially in the new generations, and for these women it has been a process of great dedication since they have felt that their work is of great importance in the rescue, protection and preservation of the Zenú indigenous identity.
