| dc.description.abstract | El presente artículo, pretende analizar los riesgos psicosociales que inciden en el bienestar integral de la población adulto mayor del Centro de Vida de Guaranda, Sucre, Colombia, desde sus experiencias y narrativas. En cuanto al diseño metodológico se tuvo en cuenta el paradigma cualitativo acompañado del enfoque fenomenológico donde se utilizaron dos tipos de técnicas siendo la entrevista semiestructurada y la observación participante a 15 adultos mayores. Los resultados mostraron que el estudio en el Centro de Vida María Ángel evidenció factores de riesgo psicosocial que afectan a los adultos mayores, como la soledad, el aislamiento y problemas de salud mental y física. La ausencia de familiares genera sentimientos de abandono, aunque el apoyo social y la fe contribuyen a su bienestar. También se identificó el impacto del retiro laboral y las enfermedades crónicas en su calidad de vida, resaltando la necesidad de estrategias de inclusión y cuidado. | dc.description.abstracteng | This article aims to analyze the psychosocial risks that affect the integral wellbeing of the older adult population of the Centro de Vida de Guaranda, Sucre, Colombia, according to their experiences and narratives. A qualitative paradigm with a methodological design was taken into account and a semi-structured interview and participant observation were applied to 15 older adults. The results showed that the study in the Maria Angel Life Center evidenced psychosocial risk factors that affect older adults, such as loneliness, isolation and mental and physical health problems. The absence of family members generates feelings of abandonment, although social support and faith contribute to their well-being. The impact of retirement and chronic diseases on their quality of life was also identified, highlighting the need for inclusion and care strategies. Likewise, family and community support is presented as a key factor to mitigate these risks and improve their emotional well-being. | |
